Ana Paula Gomes

I help students to know more about Python, HTML and CSS reviewing their codes and providing feedback on projects of Front-End and Introduction to Programming courses.

I acted as a consultant developer helping clients to build microservices and have better software infrastructure to face their business challenges. I had experience developing APIs with Java 8, Spring and Docker, using TDD and agile methodology. Besides the project, I was coach of a Junior Consultant, I organized events to share knowledge between my coworkers and I was involved in Data Science initiatives. In my last performance review I was recognized with high impact on business and on the client.

I worked thinking about how to help doctors and nurses to treat patients with all information about them and quickly. This was made working on a system for home health care using PHP, MySQL and jQuery.

I’ve started helping with quality, writing documentation and executing manual tests. After realized that the company should to invest more in quality, I presented a project to create a quality team. Since that, I supervised a team who reviewed software to find problems before reach the client. Some time later, I began a new challenge: to create new products for the company and been responsible for overseeing projects and suggesting improvement.
